Senator Zieman met with Iowa League of Cities

 

DES MOINES – Senator Zieman (R-Postville) met with a group of City Council Representatives at the Iowa Capitol today. 

 

Rhonda Hughes, Mayor of Cresco, and Walter McIntosh, Mayor of Lime Springs visited with Senator Zieman on a variety of important topics such as eminent domain and taxes. 

 

The Iowa League of Cities brought groups from across the state to talk with their local Senators and Representatives about issues that are important to their cities.

 

In addition to meeting with their Legislators, members of the Iowa League of Cities were briefed from the league’s legislative team on the year’s priorities.  Members also attended a panel discussion from several legislators.
